NG Elec installs Sigenergy SigenStor batteries, hybrid inverters and backup gateways across Adelaide and regional SA, mostly on bigger and three phase homes. On our 2026 jobs, adding Sigenergy to existing solar has typically cost about $500 to $600 per usable kWh after rebates, incl GST, with every quote itemised and free.

Sigenergy SigenStor is a modular home battery system: battery modules stack on one hybrid inverter, with a gateway for blackout backup, all from the one maker and run from one app. It suits homes that want a larger battery, three phase or room to add modules later. NG Elec designs, installs and commissions it, with the federal battery rebate taken off the quote.

Is this you?
Most of our Sigenergy jobs in 2026 were 26 kWh or more usable. If you run air con, a pool pump or an EV at night, it scales up well.
A lot of our Sigenergy installs are on three phase, from 35 kWh in Hayborough to 52.6 kWh in Beaumont with two inverters.
The Sigenergy gateway switches the house over when the grid drops out. We confirm what your switchboard and battery can back up before we quote.
Modules stack, so you can start with what you need now and add capacity if you buy an EV or the family grows.
We use Sigenergy beyond the suburbs too: the Mount Jagged off-grid build runs a Sigenergy gateway, and the Kangarilla General Store has 96 kWh of Sigenergy storage.
What we do
These are real accepted NG Elec Sigenergy jobs from 2026, suburb and system only. Every job is designed, managed and signed off by NG Elec.
Woodcroft and Noarlunga Downs both got 26 kWh usable added to existing solar, Noarlunga Downs AC coupled on three phase with whole-home backup. Morphett Vale went to 35 kWh with backup to a sub board.
Hayborough (Aug 2026) got 18.3 kW of solar with 35 kWh on three phase. Myponga got 11.4 kW of solar with 26.3 kWh usable.
Beaumont and Craigburn Farm both went to 52.6 kWh usable on three phase. In Murray Bridge we paired 52.6 kWh with a switchboard upgrade and a 22 kW EV charger.
On Kangaroo Island (Oct 2026) we replaced an existing system with 8.7 kW of solar and 26 kWh of Sigenergy.
We fit the gateway, set up backup on the circuits you choose, and check your board can take it. Older boards sometimes need an upgrade first.
We apply the federal rebate on your quote, lodge the SA Power Networks paperwork, register the warranty and set up the app with you.

How it works
Call 0425 322 552 or fill in the form with a recent bill and what solar you've got. Interval data helps us size it properly.
We size the module stack to your evening use, check phase, switchboard and backup, then send a free itemised quote with the rebate applied.
Licensed electricians fit the inverter, battery stack and gateway, and wire your backup circuits. We keep the site tidy.
We test the system, set the charging schedule (including the Solar Sharer window if you're on that plan) and walk you through the app.
Pricing
Sigenergy usually costs more per kWh than GoodWe on our jobs, but you're paying for the modular design and the gateway. Every quote is free and itemised, with the rebate shown.

FAQ
On typical NG Elec jobs in 2026, Sigenergy added to existing solar came in at about $500 to $600 per usable kWh, after rebates, incl GST. Real examples, after rebates, incl GST: Noarlunga Downs, 26 kWh, three phase, whole-home backup, about $14,600. Beaumont, 52.6 kWh, three phase, two inverters, about $30,500. A 52 kWh three phase setup is typically about $26,000 to $30,000. Every quote is itemised and free.
It depends on system size. Hayborough, 18.3 kW of solar with 35 kWh on three phase, was about $28,700 after rebates, incl GST. Kangaroo Island, 8.7 kW with 26 kWh replacing an old system, was about $24,900. See our solar and battery prices for the wider ranges.
On our jobs it usually is, often by $100 or more per usable kWh. You're paying for the stackable design, one maker for inverter, battery and gateway, and how well it scales on large and three phase systems. If you just want the most storage for the money, GoodWe is often the better value. We'll quote both if you ask.
Eligible SigenStor models qualify for the federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program, which we apply through STCs on your quote. The battery must be VPP-capable, but joining one is optional. Full rate applies up to 14 kWh, 60% from 14 to 28 kWh and 15% from 28 to 50 kWh, so a big stack gets less rebate per kWh at the top end. Our rebate calculator shows how much you'll get.
If you choose a Solar Sharer plan, grid power is free from midday to 3pm in SA, up to 24 kWh a day. When we commission your battery we can set it to top up from the grid in that window, then run the house through the evening peak. Those plans often have higher supply and peak rates, so compare the total cost first.
Usually, yes, as long as the inverter has capacity for more. We size the inverter with that in mind if you tell us you might add an EV or more load later. Keep in mind that modules added after a rebate step-down get the lower rate.
Check the current manufacturer warranty on the datasheet we send with your quote, as terms change. We register the warranty for you at install. NG Elec also gives a lifetime workmanship warranty on the installation.
Sigenergy suits big, three phase or expandable systems. GoodWe is usually the lowest cost per kWh on our jobs. Sungrow makes sense if you already have a Sungrow hybrid. Tesla Powerwall suits people who want a single unit. Our best battery guide compares them side by side.
