How much does an electrician cost in Adelaide?
It depends on the job, access and parts, so we don't publish a price list. What we do is give you a free, itemised quote before any work starts, so there are no surprises on the invoice.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. NG Elec holds electrical contractor licence PGE285103, we're Master Electricians members and we carry $20M public liability. Licensed electricians do the work on every job.
Do you do emergency work?
No. We work Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, and don't run an emergency service. If you smell burning or see sparks, turn the main switch off and call SA Power Networks or 000 if there's danger.
Can you do small jobs like one power point?
Yes. No job's too small. If you've got a couple of little things on the list, bundle them into one visit to make the trip worth it.
Do you only do solar?
No. We're licensed electricians first. Lighting, power points, fault finding, switchboards and smoke alarms are everyday work for us, and we do home solar and batteries too.
Is your work guaranteed?
Yes. Our installs come with a lifetime workmanship warranty. Product warranties come from the manufacturer and we'll help you with the claim if something fails.
Which areas do you cover?
We're based at Hackham and cover all of South Australia: metro Adelaide, the Hills, the Fleurieu, the South East, Kangaroo Island, and the Yorke and Eyre Peninsulas.
Can you wire my renovation?
Yes. Talk to us early, ideally before walls are lined, so we can plan lighting, power and any new circuits for appliances you're adding.
