Do you do small electrical jobs in Hackham, or just solar?
Both. Alongside solar and batteries we do power points, lighting, smoke alarms, switchboards and fault finding. See our residential electrical services.
Can you come out at night or on weekends?
We work Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, and book jobs in ahead. We don't run an emergency service, so if something's sparking or burning, turn it off at the main switch and call SA Power Networks or 000 first.
Do I need a new switchboard before adding solar or a battery?
Not always. If your board still has old ceramic fuses, no safety switches or no spare room, it'll likely need an upgrade. We check it at the site visit and put it on the quote as a separate line so you can see it.
Is there a rebate for a battery in Hackham?
Yes. The federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program takes the rebate off your quote through STCs. It's tiered by usable capacity (full rate up to 14 kWh, then 60% to 28 kWh and 15% to 50 kWh) and steps down again on 1 January 2027. It's the install date that counts, not the quote date.
